Astro C40: What A Mistake!

How To Use Astro C40 Tournament Controller on PS5
If you're like me and purchased an Astro C40 Tournament Controller and you're wondering how to use Astro C40 Tournament Controller on PS5 I got the answer for you. So stay tuned to SLA (Streaming Live Academy) to find the answer at the close of this article however, let me first explain a bit of the background.

The Astro C40 controller a decent pro controller for pro gamers or even gamers who are really serious using the PS4 that want to be able to have something as similar to or excellent as the Xbox Elite Series controller is. The controller was released prior to the controller, and it was great, but now it has lost a bit of its cool and good however it is still an excellent controller, that is above average.

The issue is that Sony decided to nuke older controllers under the so-called"progress" name. Astro, the company has made an appearance on Reddit through a representative, saying that it is due to Sony that they can't upgrade the controller. The controller is not working on PlayStation 5 with PlayStation 5 games, however it will work when playing PlayStation 4 titles .

In addition to their replying to such a sexy user name, I applaud them for replying and telling us. Link to article can be found on the image or click here . Personally,  astro c40 joystick replacement  won't find an PS5 soon, so I'm not concerned however, personally I like the feeling that comes from an Astro C40 controller to the Sony PS5 controller and the haptic feedback seems dope and game changing to some extent however it's not a necessity.

My issue with PS5 controller is that the controller does not have paddles, and the joysticks are designed in a way that I do not like as I hand down preference to the Xbox Controller joystick layout a lot more. There is  pair c40.to.ps5  though and as I stated in the beginning of the article I will address the question of How to Use Astro C40 Tournament Controller on PS5 as it is possible. You can utilize the Astro C40 controller for the PS5 when playing PS4 games, however for PS5 games you're going need a third party device called the Cronus Zen.

This tiny device will enable you to use your Astro C40 TR controller on the new PS5 natively. I invite you to go through the article to find out what it is then decide if purchasing is worth it. I personally will probably do it once I purchase a PS5 and I will report my findings back to you thru SLA and my personal YouTube channel, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, I'm hoping Sony will recognize that not every game will be able or want to use the new haptic feedback feature. They seem hell bound to making sure that everybody does, and I don't blame them. I would not want them to have the Apple 3D Touch situation on their hands and the technology is truly amazing.

It's just that I know it is not a must and it's not something that you truly need in the majority of games, so requiring all gamers to use it or else no controller seems overkill to me. By the time I end up getting the PlayStation 5 they might have already changed their mind, but we shall be able to see. The only thing we currently have is only the Cronus Zen as well as PS4 games on our PS5 controller life.
